Negotiations
between Greece and the lenders interrupted. Eurocrats demand
humiliation for Tsipras administration, insisting on the cruel
neoliberal policies to destroy Greece.
The
Deputy Prime Minister of Greece, Yannis Dragasakis, made the
following announcement:
The
Greek delegation, which is in Brussels since Saturday, delivered
today to the institutions additional proposals as agreed, that
completely cover the fiscal gap and the primary surpluses. Proposals
that pave the way for the final agreement covering the three pylons -
fiscal, financial and growth.
The
proposals by the Greek government completely cover the fiscal gap as
specified by the representatives of institutions. However, they
persist that the gap coverage should be exclusively done through
pension cuts by 1% of GDP and through the VAT increase also by 1% of
GDP.
Despite
that the Greek delegation stayed in Brussels there was no response on
the part of institutions for discussions at the level and those
warranties which would help to resolve the issues that remain open.
The
delegation of the Greek government remains ready to complete the
negotiations for the achievment of a mutually beneficial agreement.
